Meet Nuthaki from India

It was on the streets of India that a young girl was found struggling to fend for life. She was covered with trauma and fear. Coming from an abusive household with the loss of her father, there was no hope to be found in her.

This little girl was taken in by the leaders at a Kidstown supported children’s home, where she was brought into a loving and supportive household. She was provided with the tools she needed to find healing and confidence.

Nuthaki is now living a much different life than she faced in her abusive home. She now knows that she is capable of helping others, and that others are capable of helping and loving her. She is studying hard, and doing her work with excellence is very important to her. Although her past does not hold power over her, she remembers it in order to help more children in similar situations. She hopes to make a difference in the world and stop the exploitation of young orphans and abandoned children.

Although she was behind in school by a couple of years due to the struggles of her parents, Nuthaki is currently about to graduate from college and will continue into the higher studies of computer commercial practices, moving towards the banking sector.

She is now full of hope and joy. She has risen above the ashes of a dark and painful past, and is a beacon of light for others who find themselves in dark and hopeless situations. She is now truly equipped to love others and impact the world around her.
