Lives in India
As a young child, living in a poor and remote village, Gurram was raised in an unhealthy and unstable environment. She witnessed her father surrender his life to alcohol, losing all interest in his family, and drinking himself to a point that he could no longer function properly. Gurram’s mother did what she could to work, but being mentally unstable and living in a household of fear, she could do very little. Worried for Gurram’s future, her mother brought her to one of our supported homes. She knew that this was a safe place for Gurram to grow up in, and where she would be educated and raised to know God.
