Lives in Romania

Alexandra is finally on the road to recovery after a childhood of tragedy. Her mother moved from their small Romanian village to find work in Italy, only to die from cancer soon after. Alexandra and the rest of her family were left alone in poverty. At age thirteen, her father began to take advantage of her in the worst way possible. After a couple of years, her brother Sorin found out about the atrocities   happening in his home and confronted the police. They promptly arrested the father and took Alexandra and Sorin to an emergency center where they were assigned to one of our homes. Their home leader stood by Alexandra through her court days, and is dedicated to walking alongside her during her recovery and for her future. There is no easy way to find healing for this tragic past, but, there is hope and protection for Alexandra and Sorin in their new home.
